- Tell el-Herr
- Modern name for the site of a fortress at the edge of the easten Delta in the 14th nomeof Lower Egypt. It guarded the entry route into Egypt from the east. The remains, which include a cemetery, date from the 5th century BC to the 5th century AD, thus from the Late Periodto the Graeco-Roman Period.
